About Gerrit Lansing

Gerrit Lansing was born in Portland, Maine in 1984. His love for the outdoors was fostered at an early age - his parents would often go hiking or canoeing. His love for photography also began at an early age. He lived in Portland until 1992 when his family moved to Chicago, Illinois. Gerrit attended middle school and high school at The Latin School of Chicago where he graduated in 2003. Gerrit is currently enrolled at Colby College in Waterville, Maine with a major in Administrative Science. He has recently been pursuing sculpture in addition to photography.
